Chic The Boutique

Ladies, this is a message I never thought I’d have to write—and one I truly wish I didn’t.

Bear with me, because I am super emotional about it.

We recently learned about an issue in this property that would put Chic at risk. With no solutions, no transparency, and no support, we had two choices—stay and lose everything or leave to protect Chic’s future.

We chose the only option we had.Chic will be closing this spring, temporarily, with plans to relocate.I wish it were different. I wish I could tell you we’d be back right away. For now, we are still open, but plan on closing sometime this Spring. If everything falls into place, we hope to reopen in Fall/Winter 2025.

That’s the goal. Finding a space, securing a lease, building it out, and ordering inventory all takes time–months, not weeks. Until then, my focus is on closing this chapter with grace, clearing out inventory, and preparing for Chic’s future.

Chic has always been more than a boutique—it’s been a place of joy, friendship, and love. I’ve celebrated your biggest moments and stood with you through heartbreak, loss, and struggle.This situation has brought every emotion—anger, grief, frustration, exhaustion. But one thing remains true: I refuse to let anyone take away my joy, my peace, or the purpose this store has given me.

I never imagined customers could change my life, but you did. You’ve been there through my hardest seasons and my greatest blessings—when we adopted our daughter, when I became a mom, when I shared the news of another miracle on the way. You didn’t just shop here. You showed up. You cared. You became family.This store gave me a purpose. You gave me a purpose. And I will never be able to thank you enough for that.

Chic has been my dream, but you have been the heart of it.This isn’t goodbye—it’s a pause to rebuild something even better.I hope you’ll come in while you can—to shop, to hug, to share one last memory here. And when the time comes, I hope you’ll be there when Chic opens its doors again.From the bottom of my heart—thank you.
